"I am writing to inform you about a training opportunity for early stage researchers involved in the Research Networks – Treaty of Windsor Programme–Acções Integradas Luso-Britânicas – British Council-FCT Protocol programmes run jointly by CRUP(Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Portuguesas – CCISP (Conselho Coordenador dos Institutos Superiores Politécnicos) – FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia) and British Council.
The British Council also co-funds and administers a series of research partnership programmes across Europe, in addition to these bilateral programmes we aim to link early career researchers from the various European countries with our “Research Networks” project.
After successful workshops in Paris and Lisbon in 2008, and positive feedback from participants we are running a third "Building a Successful International Research Career’ workshop which will take place in Bonn at the Gustav-Stresemann-Institut in Bonn from 9-11 December 2009.
We would be grateful if you could forward this message to any researchers on your team who completed their PhDs between 1 and 3 years ago. The researchers should be involved or have recently participated in the Treaty of Windsor-Acções Integradas Luso-Britânicas and British Council/FCT programmes. We will also be inviting other young researchers from Spain and the Nordic countries to the workshop in Bonn.
