Heidggerian rootless

"It is all to easy to gloat over Heidegger's ridiculous attachment to his local roots, his "Why do I have to remain in the provinces?" theme - what if we conceive it as a kind of defensive strategy that enabled him to cope with the traumatic radicality of his thought? That is to say: what if we see in it a strategy comparable to that of Kierkgaard, who also showed every evening at the theatre, and so on? It is impossible to endure the extreme effort of thought all the time - we have to have an easy place to escape to."

Zizek, Slavoj (2006) "The Parallax View". Cambridge MA:MIT pág, 273

Eu na última frase dizia que por vezes "we have to have an essay place to escape to", como um blog.
