The Genesis and Development of Intimacy as a Field of Research

You are invited to the Spring Term seminar of the Intimate Citizenship Group of the Birkbeck Institute for Social Research.
The guest speaker this term is Jessica Mjoberg, who is a Visiting PhD Student in the BISR from Uppsala University.
The working title of her thesis is "Intimacy, Sociality and Late Modernity". The thesis is theoretical and attempts to find out what intimacy stands for in general and especially in relation to theories of contemporary society.
